Greyhounds, Golden Oldies & Friends is an Animal Sanctuary set in beautiful Staffordshire countryside. Back in 1990 I took in my first ‘oldie’ and then went on to set up the charity Greyhounds & Golden Oldies in 1995. I have loved greyhounds for as long as I can remember and so wanted to help them too. Back then it was almost impossible to rehome a greyhound, I am happy to say that on the rehoming front at least people have now realised what wonderful pets they make. In 2013 we were able to take in rescue goats, and then in 2014 we took in our first rescue pony. And so we renamed the charity Greyhounds, Golden Oldies & Friends Animal Sanctuary to embody all our lovely animals. All proceeds generated from our charity shop go towards the care of our animals.
