Alfie is a little darling. He came to us from another rescue group in January 2018. He had been found wandering on several occasions and taken to their kennels. His owners had him back the first couple of times but then on the last occasion decided that they no longer wanted him. He was thought to be around 10 years old but I think that he is possibly a quite a lot older as his eyesight is slightly impaired and his hearing too, he also has lots of little warts. He had obviously been neglected by his previous owners as his ears were in a terrible state, it took months and months to get them better,  he also had to have several teeth removed and was also suffering from conjunctivitis, poor little man, thank you to the group for their help with his initial veterinary care. I also feel that maybe he has had to live outside as he took a while to house train, he now sleeps by the side of the bed and absolutely loves the sofa’s, he loves everyone and loves all his new doggie friends and never really leaves my side, he is such a happy little chap and we all love him to bits. He had to have a little operation to remove a wart from the inside of his eye but recovered well bless him.
